I brought my 993 to the Porsche Parade
last weekend to show in the Concours. After 7 months of lying under the
car to clean every nut and bolt, it rained to morning of the show. So everyone
had to drive 2 miles from the prep area to the show site on wet roads (big
time bummer) . The weather cleared and the show was great!
My 993 was entered in “Preparation Full”
for cars from 1992-2001 and finished second in the raw Concours score (298.6
points out of 300). A
beautiful 993 Turbo S (1k miles) finished
first with 299.5 points and went on to win the division. The class was
actually won (302 points) by a 964 cab that was driven from Texas and received
5.6 bonus points. |
