Porsche RS Club Sport mono ball coil over suspension

I recently had the opportunity to help Hank installing a factory Porsche RS Club Sport adjustable mono ball coil over suspension on his 993.  Hank also ordered the factory RS adjustable sway as he fears that the standard units are too wimpy.

This project is a lot more involved than just changing a standard shock and spring.  I highly recommend two people to slide the front factory sway out and installing the new unit.  Also the proper placement of the sway bar drop link can be very confusing and may require several trial and error to get it to line up correctly.

The front bottom pan also need to be removed in order to gain access to the sway bar mounts and sway bar adjustment.  Also prior to the installation of the new sway bar the exact center of the sway bar must be marked correctly and placed in the center of the car.

This page will not list in detail the exact procedure and installation of this coil over suspension since this will not reflect every single coil over units out in the market.  But the pictures are just for fun and reference.  But do feel free to drop me or Hank an e-mail if you need help with this.

Below are some Before and After ride height picture.  Since this is a coil over suspension setup you can potentially get it as low as you wanted.  Hank decided this was the acceptable ride height for him
